Justice delayed is justice denied...but here finally action has been taken...Santhosh Singh should be hanged for committing a gruesome crime...Also Afzal's judgement too should be implemented as per law..no delays!
BTW, Sanjay Dutt's tryst with destiny tomorrow...likely judgement in his case on wednesday 18.10.06 for 93 blasts..let's keep our fingers crossed...for the sake of Sunil and Nargis Dutt, Sanjay should be acquitted.

even the president has to take some stand in these cases, as i said he has some 22 clemency applications pending with him, even if he comments anything it is going to go against him on the afzals case as he too is a muslim. by keeping quite it does not help. time has proved what muslims have done for this country, all respect for the president. i agree with you kane about the president. i take my words back.

Though I am satisfied with the verdict of high court,yet i am distressed for the reason that almost 11 years were spent(wasted)for the justice to be done.Priya Matoo case was being projected by the media and alike but how many Mattoos are still there hoping for the justice no body knows.
Even if Santosh is sentenced deat penality what is the gurantee that even then he will be hanged?
AFZALS case is the point of reference - these criminals have many fathers - look at AFZAL's CASE and you know what I mean.
No hope from this leadership.

I am a retired man and pursued this case right from this Santosh's acquitall.
I have been praying,since then,for the poor soul that Priya was.I am somewhat relieved but I want to see this animal SANTOSH hanged in my life time.

we Indians are too emotional and we swing in extremes,especially whenever it is a matter of Death Sentence.
I believe that both the sides take too extreme positions.Reasoning can not be replaced with Rheotric,by either side.

This is not the only rape happened in India .On an average 80 rapes Cases report to happen in India daily and many more goes un reported .No body looks as the Cause every body is busy in treating the symptoms ! So what is the exact cause why the largest number is reported in India rather in Europe and US taken together.
